Whoa, is that Australia at Hamilton?

Pinch me, and do it hard! Did I just wake up to the Aussies collapsing to a paltry 200 odd on the first day on what the commentators did not describe as a bowler-friendly wicket? Or am I still to wake up in full?
Unfortunately, looking at scorecard, I gather that most of the batsmen got starts for Australia, but were not able to carry their innings through to completion. Or rather, the completion occurred much quicker than what it should actually had.
Except Simon Katich's 88 and Marcus North's duck, every one of the other five batsmen got to double figures, but managed only 22 as their highest score. Tim Southee did the early damage, Daniel Vettori scalped the later wickets - which was as important given the Aussie penchant for its tail to wag - and the Aussies were bowled out inside 75 overs.
Not that my prediction about the Kiwi batting has gone wrong; it is yet to be tested. What remains to be seen is whether the New Zealand side can manage a decent lead to be able to put the pressure on the Aussies in the second innings. The last time Australia collapsed like this was at Sydney, to only recover and post a magnificent win over Pakistan.
