Where do Piyush Chawla and Rohit Sharma come from?

The Indian selectors may not have sprung a huge surprise when they named their 15-member Indian squad for the ICC World T20, but there were a couple of smallish ones all the same.
For one, there is Piyush Chawla in the squad. No Amit Mishra, no Pragyan Ojha, but Piyush Chawla. Chawla has not been in the radar for some time, whereas Amit Mishra and Pragyan Ojha have been trading blows for that elusive second spinner's berth in India for some time. In the ongoing IPL, Mishra has 7 wickets from six games, Ojha's scalped four from four and Chawla has three from five. All three have similar economies between 7 and 7.5 runs per over.
So, no rationale behind the selection.
Then, there is Rohit Sharma. Again, has not done much barring a 45 in the IPL and nothing much in the domestic circuit. Manish Pandey, on the other hand, has had a great domestic season last year and has provided his side with starts each time in the IPL. Robin Uthappa has been belligerent. And yet, Rohit Sharma gets the nod.
Apart from the two, a fairly reasonable selection, but if I were Pandey, Uthappa, Ojha or Mishra, I would feel aggrieved.
