New Zealand should have learnt from Ross Taylor

In short, they have lost the game. New Zealand needed much more than a 20-run lead to hold any chances at Hamilton.
But, the collapse was on expected lines, as was the standout batting effort of Ross Taylor. The rest of them just caught air.
In a way, Taylor defined how the Kiwis should have approached the innings. The rest were just not good enough to do so, or did not plan it that way. Cannot have any other explanations.
Funnily, Matt Sinclair scored 11. That was three runs short of his average against the Australian side in Test cricket!. And now, one can expect the Aussies to rake up a 500 and get the Kiwis out. Cheaply.
At least Pakistan at Sydney'10 had obtained a good enough lead in the first game of the year before capitulating to a shock-loss (that also led to the sacking of a lot of the Pakistani cricketers).
Wonder what the nodder and winker has to say now!
