David Hussey catches a stunner against Delhi

March 29th 2010 16:25
Whoa. Make that another whoa. And whoa! What a catch again, and this time by David Hussey!

As if to prove that the quality of fielding in the IPL is something to write home about, David Hussey followed up the catch that AB de Villiers had taken with a catch that was as stunning as it could get.

Let me dive straight into it. Last over of the Delhi innings and Paul Collingwood batting on 53. Smacks a Charl Langeveldt delivery and it seems like it is going to go over the fence for a six.

Small problem though. David Hussey is still on the fence. And alive.

He jumps up and tips the ball over. With the ball still in the air, and him overbalancing over the fence, he jumps up so that he would not remain grounded and tips the ball over again, but this time, into the playing area. Then, he recovers from over the fence and with the ball still in the air, catches the same over the playing area!

The catch was even better than the Adam Voges catch!

The stadium rises!
