Shahid Afridi may be reappointed as the captain of the Pakistan cricket side after a meeting with the PCB chief Ejaz Butt.
Earlier, the Pakistan side for the ICC World T20 was named but the captain of the side was not named due to the penalties levied on the players.
It is said that Afridi has already paid the price for his misdemeanor by first being banned by the ICC and then fined Rs.3 million by the PCB. Afridi had been accused of ball tampering and was banned for a couple of games by the ICC.
Mohammad Yusuf, Shoaib Malik, Younus Khan and Naved-ul-Hasan Rana were all banned by the PCB and there were three others including Afridi who were fined heavily.
